Super quality, very good service and warranty. This laptops are 100% compatible with Linux. You have allways access in to the BIOS or EUFI (also afterwards) to change the boot or startup settings. On other brands is this very difficult because they are completely protected by, among other things, Secure Boot (which cannot be disabled).

Whisper quiet

You can opt for better thermal paste to make this laptop the quietest Linux laptop available. Low-noise laptops can be obtained by ensuring that the fan does not have to run as fast or not at all. The warmest part of a laptop is the processor, which is connected via a metal cooling fin (usually made of copper), which in turn is cooled by a fan. This thermal paste is located between this cooling fin and the processor. By choosing better thermal paste, this heat is better transferred to the cooling fin. This allows us to run the fan less quickly or not at all by means of a special program. If you want a whisper-quiet laptop, choose this model with the better thermal paste.

Maar welke versie (Linux-distributie / distro) kies ik nu het best?

Eigenlijk is de keuze heel simpel: 90% van onze verkopen zijn met Linux Mint of Ubuntu. De klanten die overkomen van Windows kiezen het best Linux Mint. Ubuntu wordt dan meest gekozen door klanten die al vroeger met Linux werkten of gewoon zijn om met Ubuntu Linux te werken (45% kiest voor Linux Mint en 45% kiest voor Ubuntu). Elemenatary OS wordt meestal gekozen door klanten die overkomen van Apple. De rest van de versies worden bijna nooit gekozen en het zijn meestal klanten die echt uit eigen overtuiging voor die bepaalde distributie kiezen.
